The things that are most comforting to me

Things that are most comforting to me is my Grandpa and my Grandma's house. My Grandparents house is comforting to me because there is always food there, and in one of the living rooms they have a comfy couch and chair. It is also comforting there because I can eat all I want and sleep and do nothing there, mainly it is comforting there because I can just relax. One of the books that is comforting to me is the book "Jumper" by Steven Gould. It is comforting to me because when I read that book it feels like time is flying by and I forget what is happening all around me. Foods that comforting to me is Chinese and Pancit. Chinese food is comforting because I only get it once and a while and the food makes the day better. Pancit is comforting because my Grandma only makes it on special occasions and it feels good to have some Asian food.

I am from (My dad's side)

Many people can tell from looking at me that I am from an Asian descent, but there is more to me and where I am from than meets the eye. On my dad's side, we are Filipinos. My grandpa was in the Navy and was stationed in the Philippines and my grandma was born in Manila. My dad was also born in Manila. You can tell I am Asian not only from my skin but also by what I eat. My grandma usually makes some pancit, fried rice, and weird combinations of  vegetables and meat. At my grandma's house, there are old pictures of her in the Philippines and there is a tray of a map of the Philippines too. The saying in my family is " I will poke you in the ulo" ( it means  head in Tagalog). From what my grandma tells me, that in the Philippines it smells weird because of all of the food cooking. My grandma also tells me that the Philippines is hot, humid, there are buildings everywhere and that it is very crowded. From what I can imagine, the Philippines is like Times Square on New Years Eve.
My morals are that family should always be there no matter what and you should be a rock and never change yourself, just be who you are.

A Horse, Cow, or Chickens?

If I lived 2000 years ago and I had a chance between a horse, cow, or a dozen chicken I would choose a horse. I would not choose a cow because if I slaughtered the cow for meat I would have to the meat pretty soon because the meat would spoil. I would not choose a dozen chickens because chickens die more easily than a horse or cow. I would take a horse because other than walking a horse would be another form of transportation. A horse can make me some money too, a horse could get me a job. A job could be becoming a rancher, which I'll basically be doing is herding cattle. Since a horse is so potent, I could be plowing crops too. Just making sure the crops grow plentiful so my boss can make more money. I can also breed horses, which will also make me some more money. When I make a lot of money from all of these things I can get a cow and a dozen chickens.

Piñata

As I got picked up by this lady who thought I was the best thing ever I realized that the time for me to be smashed to pieces was only a matter of time. The character that I was paper machete after didn't help too, I mean everyone loves Batman how come I couldn't be a Power Puff Girl or aTeletubbie. When I got to the party and was set down on the table next to the cake , I saw that he was only a 4 year old and I thought to myself  " this is going to be torturous, this kid can not break me open" . The birthday party had finally started there had to be at least 100 kids just filling there faces with chocolate cake and ice cream, and there I was dangling there just hoping that my life would end quickly. Finally all the kids came outside to crush the living daylights out of me, and here this huge, beefy 4 year old with a baseball and hat that said" birthday boy". Then there was a clamor for candy " we want candy" everyone cried, and with one swing I was broken and everything went dark after that.
