Jp #7 2/10/15

If I was forced to spend the rest of my life in a library, museum,or zoo,I would choose the library. I would choose the library because in a museum all you would look at is either paintings or sculptures, and I would get tired of seeing works of art over and over again. I also would not choose the zoo either. Sure it would be fun and cool to be around the animals, but after a while I would get bored of seeing the animals. The zoo would also get too noisy for me with all of the screeching animals. I would choose the library because I like reading, and at the library of course there are a lot of books. When I read the books, I will gain a lot of information from them and I would get smarter too. These are some reasons why I would choose a library.

Jp #3 1/26/15

I am absolutely sure that I will never forget how much more freedom I got at this age. I finally got my first phone, even though I got it taken away already. I also just got my temps, so I am learning how to drive. Learning how to drive is leading up to some more freedom when I start driving by myself. Some other freedom that I won't forget is that now since I am older and my parents trust me, they allow me be by myself more often and not having them around. Adults I think have forgotten about how much freedom they had when they were 15 because most adults have had so much freedom for so long, some have moved out of the house and some have been driving on their own for so long. I also think adults have forgotten about the freedom they had because they have gotten so used to their freedom that it has become part of their everyday life.

Jp #2 1/21/15

If I had to recommend a book or a series of books I would recommend the "Jumper" series. I would recommend the series because it is very entertaining and a little bit extra- terrestrial. Even though this is a fiction series, I would want everyone in the world to read this because in my opinion it is a good series. For me personally when I read the books, I get caught up in the book and I just keep reading and reading and it is hard for me to put the book down. I think this series of books will affect the world because it will just entertain them, and be a little more cautious about other people. What I mean by this is that the main characters in the book can "jump" or teleport to different places, so I believe that even though the books are fiction it will make people wonder if anybody in the world can teleport.

Predictions of 3000

If I had to predict life in the year 3000 I would say there will be Robot soldiers, Time machines, and that there will be an Alien invasion. There will be robot soldiers because many people do not like the thought or seeing their loved one go to war and have a chance that he/she may not come back. So I think the Presodent will fund a robot program to fight the wars for us. I think there will be time machines because humanity is coming up with new inventions everyday, so I think a time machine will come out soon. If whoever is trying to build a time machine doesn't make one, they should try to base the time machine off Dr. Emmit Browns blueprints. There will be an Alien invasion because the United States will try to communicate with any other life forms. Then some type of Alien race is going to intercept our signal and trace it back to earth.

Charles Dickens quote

This quote is true for a high school because high school definitely has its ups and downs. The best times for high school is that unless I am going to college, school is almost done for me. One other good part when I am in high school is thst I have more freedom to do whatever I want. There is also the time where I can try and figure out what college I am going to. The bad times are of course where I have tons of homework and tons of test to do and take. There are OGT, ACT tests that will give me migraines just trying to study for. Of course I still have to study for and do the tests that our teacher has planned for in the curriculum. I think that all in all the best times are going to outweigh the bad times in high school.

The phone rules

Although I do agree that cell phone usage can distract us from learning in the classrooms, I would have to disagree on the no use of phones in the hallway. Technically we're not in class when were between classes, so I don't think our phones should be taken away when we are actually not in class. So who cares if we check our email, send a text message, or go on a game. Some of the messages are important like who's gonna pick me up or ride the bus because no one is going to pick me up. All we have to do is to get to class on time and be prepared. If we are late for class then it is our fault for not being to class on time. I think our teachers just need to be on the lookout for phone usage in the classroom not in the hallway.

Standard Apps

If apps that should come standard to a magical or imaginative smartphone, I would have 2 apps that come to mind. One of that apps that should come standard is DVR app. This app would be free and how it works is that it would work on my TV or cable provider. For example if I went on vacation or on a really long road trip, I could record the shows that I want at home or on my smartphone. When my show is done recording I can watch that show or movie on my phone. One other app that would be on my phone would be an app that would help me with my homework. The app would know everything about everything, and it would know about all the subjects. The thing is it won't give you the answer, it will just help you with problem no matter how hard the problem is.
